Success at the National Eisteddfod in Meifod 2024
There was success for the creative music and creative dance groups. Both groups winning their individual events.
There was also success for Elen, as she came first with her photography work .
National Urdd Eisteddfod held at Llandover.
Ysgol I D Hooson has recently competed in the National Urdd Eisteddfod held at Llandovery. There was much success for the school with the creative music group finishing in second place !
Here is Elsi Jarvis from year 3 who came 3rd in the textile competition.
The creative dance group were also very successful, finishing second !
Well done to all the children and staff, and congratulations to the school !

Success in the Urdd!
The school enjoys competing in the urdd. The school enjoyed celebrating at the National eisteddfod in Builth Wells with the success of the creative music group winning their competition, and also with Morgan Jones succeeding in being awarded the prize for the most promising performer in the action song competition in eisteddfod Llanfair ym Muallt 2018.
